{ 7 MONTH LUMP }

I'm feeling very bubbly these days. I'm not talking about my personality. I'm talking about my body. I have always had a bubble bum, but now between my round belly and my enlarged you know what's (now at a record DD) I am feeling very "bubbly". So just call me bubbles.

{ TOO CUTE TO RESIST }

So for the last seven months I have done a great job at not purchasing any baby clothes or baby items of any kind for that matter. Which my husband has appreciated greatly. I think he has even been surprised by the amount of control I have had. So he must have known I would lose control one day. Well today was that day. I casually strolled into the baby gap (which I have done quite a few times before, without temptation) to discover an abundance of oh too cute baby clothes. I honestly couldn't talk myself out of anything and I convinced myself that it was all VERY necessary. After all I have next to no clothes for our little girl and she is going to be here in two short months! Panic set in. However I did practice some control and put it on hold. I just couldn't help but feel that it would be wrong of me to throw this purchase on Brian so suddenly. So as soon as I left the store I was sure to send Brian and text letting him know just how much i loved him and how amazing i think he is. He saw right through it. So I told him the situation and he agreed to go back to the store with me to review my pile of desired items. Well mostly ladies, and maybe some gentlemen, he loves me, he really loves me!! He allowed me to get just what my worldly heart desired. So here they are! I love them all and I can already envision our little lady in them. So tonight I will sleep soundly knowing that my daughter will have clothes and cute ones at that.

{ OH BABY! }

So this is the profile of our little nugget. I just realized I never posted any pictures of the ultra sound. I would post others but lets be real, its pretty hard figuring out what exactly you are looking at most the time. This one however is pretty obvious and the ultrasound technician was even nice enough to label it. This ultrasound was done when I was about 18 weeks, so it has definitely been some time. However when we were at the ultra sound, Brian was so quick to point out that she looks just like me. I was absolutely confused as to how he could come to that conclusion so quick, but then he pointed out that she has the same little turned up nose! Haha He was right. So it will be interesting to see what the rest of her looks like. I am so beyond excited at this point. I just want to hold my little girl in my arms. I only have 8 more weeks(more or less) to go. I will be counting down the days. So these next two months might be really really long.

{ WAS IT REALLY A YEAR AGO? }

Although so much has happened in the last year, mainly getting pregnant, it really doesn't feel like it has been a year since we got married. I know everyone says it, so I guess I'm going to have to join the club and say, it really was the best day of my life thus far. Not only did I get to marry the coolest kid on the block, but it was a day filled with so much love. And lets be real, who doesn't love a big party all about them? It only happens once so you have to embrace it. I know I sure did. Looking back at photos makes me miss that day. Can I just do it one more time? I just want to bask in all its glory all over again. It truly was THE . BEST . DAY. So here are a plethora of photos from my favorite day. I was having a really hard time just picking a couple of my favs so I thought I would make it more of a slide show of that day. Enjoy!

{ CUTE NURSERY ART }

Ok these have got to be the cutest little prints ever. I have a small obsession with birds. Not real ones but images/knick knacks that involve birds. I have no idea why. Anyway, while searching etsy for some cute wall art for the nursery, I found these! There are just so many options. I love them. There will be at least a few of these in our little ones nursery.

{ VISITORS }

This week was a crazy one over here at the Phelps residence. We had basically my whole family in town, and it was non stop commotion. Though it was hectic and at times somewhat stressful, I am really sad that everyone is gone. Luckily everyone (including my little brother who will be back from his mission) is coming back for thanksgiving. Hopefully our little girl will be on time, so that everyone can meet her. I'm sure it will be here before I know it. So until next time my fam!

{ CRAFTINESS }

So in all my spare time these days, I have chosen to be a little crafty. Crafts were the last thing on my mind for the months I spend in bed and leaning over the toilet. It felt so good to finally be a little creative.

The first craft was inspired by my oh so creative and talented friend ashley. She is constantly coming up with the cutest DIY crafts. So after many visits to her well decorated apartment, admiring her bedazzled books, I though I would give it a go myself. So here are mine! I love them. Suuuupper easy. All it took was a stop at the local DI for some colorful hardback books, a handful of buttons, and some glue.

I have had the intention of doing this second craft for a while. A chalkboard! I was waiting to find the perfect frame but gave in and just bought an ikea frame. I painted it a pretty blue and I couldn't be happier with it.

Lastly is a photo project. I absolutely love the series of pictures we took in our wedding photo booth and I was dying to find a way to incorporate it into our new place. So I took a trip down to kinkos and had the images blown up and then I framed them to hang in our room. I love them!
