Our little one is finally here. The last couple weeks of my pregnancy, it seemed as though she couldn't come soon enough. Because my due date was Thanksgiving, all my family and Brian's family came out in hopes of meeting this little one. I tried everything under the moon to try and get labor going. I went on the treadmill multiple times, I took Caster oil TWICE! (bad bad idea),had my membranes stripped (another awful idea), ate spicy food, and did my thing on the Wii fit. Well even after doing ALL those silly things, nothing happened and everyone but my mom and sister had to head back home. Finally on December 3rd they went ahead and induced me. I went into the hospital at 11am and by 6 pm and a half hour of pushing, we had our little Claire. And let me tell you she is absolutely perfect. She is such a calm and happy baby. A week after she was born our friend Heather offered to come over and take some pictures of Claire as a gift to us. I was so excited. They turned out so cute. So here she is, our little Claire Bear. We feel so blessed.

So there you have it, two reveals in one. The first being our baby's name and the second being her nursery! Basically from day one, Brian and I were pretty set on the name Claire. We looked through, well I looked through thousands of names and none of them made my heart pitter patter like Claire did. And once we both were referring to her as Claire I knew we were sold. Now as far as the nursery goes, we love it! My vision is complete! Luckily Brian trusts me when it comes to decorating and isn't too opinionated, otherwise this could have taken a lot longer. Though I definitely couldn't have done it without him. He was so helpful. And at times where his help was not required, he was a great support. He always watched me in curiosity as I refinished furniture, transformed picture frames, and decorated. He told me that it blows his mind what I'm capable of. Mainly because his mind works totally different then mine. Though I think I also surprise myself all the time. I love just about everything in this room. I especially love the refinished crib because it was mine. I'm also hoping that by sleeping in the same crib I did, Claire will sleep like I did. My mom always says I was her peace of mind, sleeping through the night at five weeks. So fingers crossed. Oh and remember THIS beauty.. well she has made her way into the nursery but is only about 95% complete so once she's complete you will be made aware. Well I hope you all enjoy the nursery as much as I do. Every day I pass this room, and get so excited to have Claire here with us. I just can't wait!

I'm feeling very bubbly these days. I'm not talking about my personality. I'm talking about my body. I have always had a bubble bum, but now between my round belly and my enlarged you know what's (now at a record DD) I am feeling very "bubbly". So just call me bubbles.

So this is the profile of our little nugget. I just realized I never posted any pictures of the ultra sound. I would post others but lets be real, its pretty hard figuring out what exactly you are looking at most the time. This one however is pretty obvious and the ultrasound technician was even nice enough to label it. This ultrasound was done when I was about 18 weeks, so it has definitely been some time. However when we were at the ultra sound, Brian was so quick to point out that she looks just like me. I was absolutely confused as to how he could come to that conclusion so quick, but then he pointed out that she has the same little turned up nose! Haha He was right. So it will be interesting to see what the rest of her looks like. I am so beyond excited at this point. I just want to hold my little girl in my arms. I only have 8 more weeks(more or less) to go. I will be counting down the days. So these next two months might be really really long.
