{ CRAFTINESS }

So in all my spare time these days, I have chosen to be a little crafty. Crafts were the last thing on my mind for the months I spend in bed and leaning over the toilet. It felt so good to finally be a little creative.

The first craft was inspired by my oh so creative and talented friend ashley. She is constantly coming up with the cutest DIY crafts. So after many visits to her well decorated apartment, admiring her bedazzled books, I though I would give it a go myself. So here are mine! I love them. Suuuupper easy. All it took was a stop at the local DI for some colorful hardback books, a handful of buttons, and some glue.

I have had the intention of doing this second craft for a while. A chalkboard! I was waiting to find the perfect frame but gave in and just bought an ikea frame. I painted it a pretty blue and I couldn't be happier with it.

Lastly is a photo project. I absolutely love the series of pictures we took in our wedding photo booth and I was dying to find a way to incorporate it into our new place. So I took a trip down to kinkos and had the images blown up and then I framed them to hang in our room. I love them!

{ BEDDING }

Sooo here are the the options for baby bedding. I thought I was set on the coral colored one so I bought it, and in the process of waiting for it to arrive I found a couple other options. So here they are. I want your input! Though white is very boring, I like the simplicity of it. It would just make designing around it so much easier. And to make it less boring I could paint the crib a fun teal or coral. Oh the possibilities. Let me know what you think because i am lost. Thanks!

{ BABY BUMP }

Sorry to just be talking about babies these last couple posts but its all that seems to be on my mind these days. About a month ago Mr B and I moved back to the lovely state of Utah for an awesome job opportunity. I never thought I would miss this place but it truly has grown on me and I am so excited to be back. We are finally all settled and as I stair at the empty room that will one day be our little girls nursery, my mind goes wild thinking of all the possibilities. One thing I have settled on are the colors. This is a big step for me considering I don't care much for pink and that can be hard when having a girl. It can be very limiting. Soooo I have decided on CORAL TEAL & GREY. On more thing that I have decided on is that I'm going to refurbish the same crib that my siblings and I all used. It is on its way to Utah first thing in the morning, thanks to my loveliest friend Lauren. I am still undecided on so many other things like bedding, rockers, changing tables, and much more because everything is so dang expensive! I am going to have to come up with some creative and less expensive solutions. However I don't mind putting a little or even a lot of work into this room. It will make it that much more meaning full to me. I am so excited get the creativity flowing. I only have four months to figure it out! This is all happening way too fast, but I'm soo excited!

{ MR B + ME = ? }

{ + }

{ = ????? }

Maybe this is awful. Judge me if you may, but am I the only one who possesses the fear of having unfortunate looking children?? Well I'm sorry but it has crossed my mind a time or two. You just never know how genes are going to mix. So I am curious to see how peanut looks come November. I'm sure she will be just beautiful. Yep you heard me, SHE! We found out last week. I always had a feeling that it was a girl, but Mr B was convinced (and almost had me convinced) that it wasn't physically possible considering his male dominating family lineage. Well wouldn't you know, I was right. We have a little joke that I somehow mysteriously get what I want. All i have to do is send my thoughts out into the universe, and voila, It's mine! So he claims that this is what I wanted. Well either way its a girl and I'm really excited. The first thing he said when we found out is "this is going to be expensive". I would like to tell him he's wrong but he's probably right. Oh I just can't wait. I think a little girl will suit us well.

{ SORRY FOR SUCKING AT THE BLOG LIFE }

{I'm starting to look like this again}
{Except this time, it's not cute}

So as you all have noticed it has been some time since I have blogged. I am so so sorry, but I have the best excuse out there. As a lot of you know I'm pregnant! And along with pregnancy has come some pretty nasty morning sickness. It has been awful. However now that I am in my second trimester I am feeling just peachy. Thank goodness. I was beginning to think that this would be the ONLY child we would have. I honestly am not sure how women can forget such misery. A fine example would be my mom. She was sick as a dog and she claims it got worse with each pregnancy, and she had six of them! Well I'm sure once this little peanut is out I will know that it was more than worth it! Oh and incase you were wondering, it was a complete accident. For the first month and a half we didn't talk much about it because we didn't really believe that it was happening. I had to buy multiple boxes of pregnancy tests to convince myself that this was real. And as if the morning sickness wasn't enough to make it feel real, I have been getting extra thick through the midsection. It is quite the irritation. I just look extra chubby and I wish I could go around wearing a sign that said I'm pregnant! So I am looking forward to the day that I actually look pregnant. Though the first part was rough, I am finally starting to get excited. So now that I am back from the land of the living dead, I promise to be a better blogger! Thanks for your patience.

{ CUTENESS }

I have been at home sick the last couple days and have been doing A LOT of blog stalking. I discovered this cute project and I just thought it was so pretty. I am all about the details and I think this would just be lovely in any room. Maybe sometime soon I will try it out.

{ HAPPY EASTER }

This is a picture of my brother Parker, my sister Gigi, and I when we were little on Easter morning. Don't you just love our homemade easter baskets? I still have it to this day. I would post a picture of Brian when he was younger but they didn't really know much of the easter bunny. Poor kid. Well happy Easter!
