{ FAM FUN }

Occasionally the inner child in me and Brian comes out, and we head to the Nickel Cade.
This time i discovered my favorite game! I was hooked. So hooked I even started to feel sick after a while.
I was curious as to how many tickets I could make this thing poop. The concept was kind of gross but kind of hilarious.
Brian could be found playing the old school X-Men arcade. Then he got a little greedy and we had to cash out.
Oh and lets not forget about Claire. Lucky for her they had this gem (most likely covered in a insane amount of germs). She didn't care much for the mary go round one, or the WAL MART TRUCK one. Yes you heard me right, WAL MART TRUCK. I tried getting a picture of her in it because I thought it was hilarious, but she wasn't having it.
Claire drowning in our winnings, and not happy about it.
Our final Tally.
Being the nice wife that I am, I let Brian go ahead and pick the prize. And what does he want?.......CANDY! Of course this didn't surprise me. He does and can eat like a 12 year old. If only we could all be so fortunate.
On the drive home I desired a little stop at the local Yogurtland. Yum. Oh and as if the night wasn't filled with enough childish fun, Yogurtland had Hello Kitty Cups and spoons!
I don't know about any of you but I'm pretty sure I spent every weekend of 4th grade at South Coast Plaza creeping around the Sanrio store.

We may just have to do this all again next week.

{ CLAIRE'S CAMERA FACE }

Lately Claire has been doing this hilarious/creepy facial expression, every time we pull out our phones to take a picture. She is hilarious. This video and photo are proof.

{ ONE YEAR OLDER AND WISER TOO }

{Laying one on the birthday boy}

Yesterday we had so much fun celebrating the one and only Mr B for his 29th birthday. We started the festivities with bowling. Bowling is one of Brian's favorite activities. I think it's because he is REALLY good. Oakley and I actually played really well which is not typical for us. I think with our new found talent we might have to join a bowling league. So after bowling we all headed back to our place for some delicious cake, and ice cream cookie sandwiches (if I do say myself). It's hard to believe that Brian will be 30 next year. We are getting so old!! Haha Ok well not necessarily old but its just freaking me out how fast life is happening. It's just not fair. Anyway, Brian I hope you had the best birthday yet! Next year will be even better I'm sure.

{ I am totally doing this! }

Isn't this just the cutest idea? How fun would it be for your kid to sit down and read/see all these memories. I am opening Claire an email account first thing tomorrow!

{ TO ETSY OR NOT TO ETSY? }

Ok so for a while now I have tossed around the idea of opening an Etsy shop. I have had so much fun making Claire's little headbands and I got enough complements that I finally decided to give it a shot. I have just always felt so weird about it. I guess I didn't want anyone to think that I thought really highly of my headbands and myself for that for that matter, and for that reason I opened a shop. I just figure, it's something I already do, and enjoy doing so why not sell them and possibly make a little money. So yesterday I went ahead and made it official. A Pinch of Peach is up and running! I'm still working on it but for any of my friends, if you are interested in buying any, I would be more than willing to offer you a discount. So spread the word! Thanks.

{ WE'RE SO GLAD WHEN DADDY COMES HOME}

Claire really is so glad when Brian comes home. The way she reacts really makes me think she loves him more than me. How dare she! I mean I only look after her 24/7. She must get sick of looking at my face, so dads face is a change of scenery. Oh well. She's not the only one who's happy when Brian comes home. The first words out of my mouth usually are "take her!". So we all win when he comes home. Anyway, the other day Brian happened to come home during one of our many photo shoots, and I was so excited to capture her reaction. She could barely contain her happiness. Man on man I love this girl (Despite how the first part of this post sounded. Being a mom is hard and we all need a break at the end of the day!) It's about time for Brian to come home again, and i can't wait to see her so excited. This has to be one of my favorite times of the day.

{ PARK CITY }

This last weekend we went up to Park City for dinner with some of our good friends, Dom and Karyn. It was such a pretty day so I couldn't resist snapping a few shots. I also wanted to document one of our last get togethers with the Blosil's. They are ditching us for bigger and better things in California. We are pretty bummed that they are leaving. Though I'm sure we will us it as an excuse to come visit California more often. Let's hope anyway. Oh and look who is growing up too fast, and loves her high chair!

{ MOVING FAST }

The view from our master

It seems like the building of our house is going so fast. We are a little obsessed with it and keep making multiple, inconvenient stops, out to South Jordan. This weekend Brian's parents were in town for a quick trip so we took them by to see the progress. We cannot wait for September 14th! Yay for no more annoying apartment complexes, not getting your deposit back, lack of a garage, and horrible property managements!
